I am a wife, a mother of grown children and stepchildren, and a grandmother of the most adorable little girl. I am reaching that age of where retirement looms just out of reach! I have very domestic interests of sewing, cooking, reading, but do not consider myself old-fashioned in my social outlook. I am Christian in my faithlife. I am non-athletic and rather bookish. I love food. I have grown fond of cookbooks and recipes and have tried more foods later in my life than when growing up and when raising my first two children. I like to write and hope that this will be an enjoyable journey for anyone who cares to come along with me.
I have a suspicion that it may be rather vain to think that others may be interested in my adventures and misadventures in the arena of food preparation. Forgive me if this is so.
Update: July 2016: I now have a grandson too!
